The Lellebel was one of my goals in Amsterdam, especially since I wrote the German Wikipedia article about it.
As a trans* person, it was also an honor for me to be a guest there. Everyone was very friendly and you felt like you were in fine hands. 4 beers on tap! And a professional bar.
But the interior was poor. A plain “hose bar” favor thousands of others. So you don't have to advance to Amsterdam for that.
Plus noisy standup comedy and also in English, but I hope that it will also be available in the local language.
Despite the friendly atmosphere, the visit was rather a disappointment.
I read that there used to be a warmer environment (plush). I would have really liked to see that.
