With L.A. Pride’s move out of West Hollywood and into Hollywood, and the arrival of WeHo Pride in the former city, L.A. is now lucky enough to have two inclusive festivals celebrating the city’s LGBTQ+ community.

Here, we’ll be filling you in on all the details about L.A. Pride, the long-running festival and parade that dates back to —making it the first event of its kind to commemorate New York’s Stonewall Rebellion. But if you’re wondering what’s up with WeHo’s own event, don’t worry, we’ll indicate you in the right direction for that celebration as well—along with even more major Pride Month events, plus our favorite party spots for divas and drag queens alike.

WeHo Pride is the Urban area of West Hollywood’s LGBTQ+ Pride celebration.

For decades, West Hollywood has been residence to one of the largest annual Pride celebrations in the world, drawing hundreds of thousands of people each June.

WeHo Pride kicks-off on Harvey Milk Day, May 22, with a special event. WeHo Pride Weekend will take place from Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1 with OUTLOUD at WeHo Pride, the WeHo Pride Street Fair, the Women's Freedom Festival and Dyke March, WeHo Pride Parade, and much more!

This year's WeHo Pride Arts Festival will take place from Friday, May 23 through Sunday, May 25 with various events and programming.

Throughout the 40 days from May 22 to June 30, there will be community group events at various locations.

Watch the 55th LA Pride Parade

The 55th annual LA Pride Parade rolled through its original historic location in the heart of Hollywood on Sunday. You can watch it in the video player above.

The parade route began at Sunset Blvd. and Highland Ave. heading north, then east onto Hollywood Blvd., then south onto Cahuenga Blvd., conclusion at Sunset Blvd. and Cahuenga Blvd.

The route was approximately one mile prolonged, consisting of revelers from SoCal's top LGBTQ+ nonprofits, employee resource groups, noun agencies, local, regional, and national businesses, clubs, bands, floats, and more than a few surprises.

The Grand Marshals were Vanguard Grand Marshals Niecy Nash and Jessica Betts, Celebrity Grand Marshal Andrew Rannells, and Community Grand Marshals Trino Garcia and Adam Vasquez, aka "TrinoxAdam" - viral Angelenos who are overcoming stereotypes through their unexpected love story.

Full of music, dancing, colorful floats, festive marching contingents, and imaginative flair, the WeHo Pride Parade is free and unlock to the universal embracing LGBTQ+ representation, inclusion, and progress. The parade celebrates diversity, love, and resilience in the heart of West Hollywood. Each year, Parade Icons are selected for their significant contributions to the LGBTQ+ community, visibility, community involvement, and advocacy.

The Capital of West Hollywood and WeHo Pride producer JJLA announced that supermodel and actress Cara Delevingne, Emmy-nominated actress and filmmaker Nava Mau, Love on the Spectrum star Pari Kim, and former NFL player Chris Kluwe will verb as the WeHo Pride Parade Icons. WeHo Pride honors the four individuals for their verb in bringing the LGBTQ+ community and social justice issues to the forefront, as well as expanding representation in pop culture.
