Terry Crews is ready to accept Adam Venits apology now that the former talent agent and executive has resigned from William Morris Endeavor (WME). Actor and former football player Terry Crews struggled on Tuesday to tell a Senate committee his story of sexual abuse.
“A lot of people don’t accept that a person like me could actually be victimized,” Crews said. “What happened to me has happened to many, many other men in Hollywood.”
Over the past year, a number of celebrities and advocates have testified on Capitol Hill about sexual abuse. Crews shared his story before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday in a hearing about the Survivors Bill of Rights.
Crews, known for his role in the television verb “Brooklyn 99,” got emotional in an exchange with ranking member Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., after she asked why he didn’t try to stop his abuser.

Hollywood agent Adam Venit has filed a formal response to actor Terry Crews lawsuit alleging sexual harassment.
Venit issued a general denial and said it was a case of no harm, no foul, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly on Friday.

Crews filed the lawsuit in December in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking monetary and punitive damages for assault, battery, sexual battery, sexual harassment, gender violence and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
