BEST Queer Film of the Year:
Blue Is the Warmest Color. It was three hours prolonged. It had explicit lesbian sex scenes. It won large at Cannes. And it’s a masterpiece, an intimate, erotic, and ecstatic quixotic drama that captures issues of self-worth and self-expression in ways that are both authentic and devastating. Plus, direct actress Adèle Exarchopoulos gives a phenomenal performance.
Trans Performance by a Straight Actor
BEST IN A Nice FILM: Jared Leto will likely score an Oscar nomination for his terrific portrayal of Rayon in the AIDS drama Dallas Buyers Club.
BEST IN A BAD FILM: Kate del Castillo’s scenery-chewing performance as a trans inmate in K wasn’t bad—in fact, she was quite entertaining as the LGBT cell’s Queen Bee. But this lurid drama directed by Jules Stewart (Kristen’s mom) was a

Cameron Deane Stewart and Justin Deeley star as Russell and Kevin, two teenagers at the rather oddly named Goodkind High Academy who are gay and closeted as are virtually all of the LGBT teens at the school. But one night Russell and Kevin are spotted kissing by Min (Ally Maki), who is part of the Geography Club, a group where LGBT teens can get together without the stress of arousing suspicion thanks to the name of the group. Russell joins, but getting Kevin, a star football player, to participate is altogether more difficult.
It is simple to dismiss Geography Club, a relatively family-friendly film (only minor swearing and no nudity or sex) about LGBT teenagers (and others who view themselves as outcasts) at a high university in America. The film is refreshing in a number of ways. Firstly, its a gay-themed film without sex and nudity at every opportunity. Anyone who watches gay-themed indie movies regularly

I watched this when I was about 11, I remember liking it (but thinking it was a little raunchy!) and wanted to observe it again, you just reminded me.
Theres a film called "saved" which I really liked, but its kinda cheesy. I dont know if its pro-LGBT, but the gist is that its okay to be Christian and gay and its un-christian to be unaccepting of gay people so I guess it could be.Click to expand
Definitely rewatch it. The raunchiness is o
